Yarger’s Body Shop – Parts Selection Agreement

At Yarger’s Body Shop, we are committed to repairing your vehicle safely and correctly using
the highest quality parts available. We strongly recommend OEM (Original Equipment
Manufacturer) parts because they are specifically designed, tested, and approved by your
vehicle’s manufacturer to restore your car to pre-accident condition. However, some
insurance companies insist on using aftermarket parts. While we do our best to challenge
these decisions and to request price-matching from manufacturers, sometimes aftermarket
prices are so low that OEM price matching is not possible.

Aftermarket Parts Waiver

I understand that aftermarket parts are not manufactured by my vehicle’s manufacturer and may be of lesser quality, fit, finish, durability, and safety compared to OEM parts.(Required)
I acknowledge that Yarger’s Body Shop does not recommend the use of aftermarket parts.(Required)
If I choose not to pay the difference for OEM parts out of pocket, I authorize Yarger’s Body Shop to install aftermarket parts as specified by my insurance company.(Required)
If I elect to pay out of pocket for OEM parts, I understand that my out-of-pocket cost may increase if additional replacement parts are required during the repair process (supplemental estimate).(Required)
I release Yarger’s Body Shop from responsibility for any issues that may arise specifically due to the use of aftermarket parts when I have chosen not to pay for OEM parts.(Required)
